THE ALBERT P. GREENLEAF
OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER AWARD
Mr. Albert P. Greenleaf
was honored at the 80th Birthday Celebration on November 15, 1999 that was
given by the West Whiteland Fire Company. Mr. Greenleaf was also recognized by the Board
of Supervisors of West Whiteland Township by receiving the first ALBERT P. GREENLEAF
OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER AWARD. This award was given in recognition of Mr. Greenleafs
outstanding volunteer service of 46 years with the West Whiteland Fire Company. As the
last remaining charter member of the Fire Company, Mr. Greenleaf continues his active
duties as Sargent of the Fire police Unit. At age 80, Mr. Greenleafs response to
emergency calls places him in the top third of the Fire Companys active
firefighters.
THE ALBERT P. GREENLEAF OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER
AWARD will be placed at the West Whiteland Township Municipal Building with Mr.
Greenleafs name appearing as the first recipient. The Board of Supervisors named
this award after Mr. Greenleaf because of his past and present outstanding service to the
West Whiteland Fire Company. The award will be given periodically to a person who provides
significant voluntary service to West Whiteland Township.
